  • Compact Disc (CD) + Digital Album

If you like progressive rock or metal, funky grooves, with ethno or folklore elements, little blues feeling, post rock, modern rock, art rock, with a pinch of alternative rock, listen our songs from the new album where you can find a crossover of all the above mentioned styles.
All the various styles which influenced the Steve Misik & Co. during the decade-long creating period form a rounded whole in the band's debut album which despite its diversity didn't loose its original rocker feeling. Several musicians and friends from all over Europe collaborating on the "Schizoemphatic" making the album even more special. We would like to dedicate it to the memory of Stefan Toth.
The band doesn't like to label its genre. We grew up listening hard rock, metal bands but we've been influenced by funk, soul, blues, progressive rock & metal, art rock, alternative, classic rock, modern rock, nu metal, classical music or jazz, not to mention the latin rhythms and flamenco music. Our music is based on the concept of trying different genres, different imaginary worlds, different fantasies in every song but keeping our own face. In the lyrics we point out the civilization problems of the society and mental world of the human being.

My Waves 03:50
My waves Caught on the short wave, A loud sneer Looking for its source, Looking at the skies Dialing on the radio scale, I feel so blind why, why, why... Now I understand That laughter so loud And that every street and every tree talks about my life With flap on my ears, I sit in a book-case Postman brings me a letter, Good news ...I hope Is open, I read, My jaw drops In a puzzle competition I won one... damned radio Is there no station, On the radio scale where I can find, no mockery of my life? At last I, Now I understand, That laughter so loud And that every street and every tree talks about my life On the radio scale There´s no station where I could find No mockery, of my foolish life.

Shadows 03:52
Shadows Egoists under the bounds of power thinking they've got it surviving like worms on the deck their life is empty longing to be filled won't succeed to realize that the thing they look for can't be found in money ref: live at the level of rivals come under the varnished tees of pseudo-elite society empty souls filled with a sense of precedence with privilegies of masks they show each other everyday I sing about them they don't want to hear my words that could pull down their dogmatic world puppets following traditions habits they've made themselves to limit our world Shadows of the past you can live in that dark I will never be one of you.

May 03:00
May I wanna feel you see you /today/ but you are always melting in a mist and loosing your faith death and life are getting you out of sight how do you want to get to the gate of your eyes? Which don't cry just the way to be lost and found in sorrowful state of vanished and ruined sand castle in mines of emotions and fancy the world is like it wants to be but it doesn't deny your kingdom of dreams I dunno know why that empty feeling returns, When I try for completeness of feel but I betray consciousness and desire, there is only pleasure rulling over, but I dont want it, thus, already its not her, desire is the beauty of love that gives back, not only passing by.

Who Cares 04:04
Who cares about it As a child I used to have big dreams big ideas, faith in justice faith in love and the truth of your words I wanted to be a good example full of feelings and understanding Kidness kills, rebelion suffers who cares about it, just relax, breath nicely, let yourself go with the flow don't be your idol, live your dreams Ref: scream out your pain, don't hide like a little type spit out your anger into the face of that nipple who tries to chain you down Don't let them take you down, shout your feelings out you'll be yourself, take control who cares about it, then you'll just be controlled who cares, we have it all in us the evil that’s needed to keep the balance, so don't back up at your own expense, stand up against it even if you lose everything the offsets would turn us into machines which are commanded by anyone according to their needs Ref: scream out ... You don't like this song, you have your own truth you are so sure, about your importance, ... who cares.

Clone 04:29

I like to change the life, so that nobody needs this bad eggs shall suffer for all, of us in endless pain lookin’ around in my soul, why and who I’m walking around back and forth, burning my head body, soul, can't find salvation exist only as waste deformed thinking, deformed existences no one will survive that, even a sane eye will go mad wanted to save the world, by a comfortable compromise I wanna feel this inside... they will clone us as they wish there will be only servants and a few of those who rule the laws of nature are set oh god say... I ask do we want a warped world? everything will be just a clone? I’m lookin' around in my soul so why, and who em I ?

I'm Here 05:33
I'm here I am here, but they still don't know, about me, I am here I am here, open your eyes, your responsability, is not my fault /and/I don't have a mother, I don't have a father I'm not a sin, you're responsably Saliva of old deviants stream down the skin and burn humanity No benefactor with a permanent smile won’t help The whole world is blind, and who want to see it, their eyes will be quickly shut by the needs of our beautiful consumer world In our 21st century, six year olds still work in factories only for food Where were you, when the first hits came nobody supported me, you've had some other big problems where were you, when I needed just a word where were you, when I fell into the chasm of dreams and my feelings stopped where were you, when my heart was dying because of those feelings, I didn't have anybody Where were you when your children were taken to coltan mines dying breathless, Buried under the clay and dirt of your sins Where were you when the money and power saturated pervo molested them with his sick desires Who are you, who sell their own children for their needs Who are you, who torture your own children with your tyran deviant minds But the time will come, when you’ll need me, and I’ll say, I’m not here. I am here, but they still don't know, about me, I am here.

Papluhy 05:09

For You 04:44
For you Guardian angels, they're still on the earth you can call'em Gods, Aliens, Power, Energy even strangers. /disregarded friends/ You live your life, neglect their presence, while they're constantly around you, happy to shelter you /to help you/ ref: They are still with you, think of you also in the distance, coming again and again /to you/ /disregarded friends/ they are with you even when you're faraway thousands of miles they stand by you and their mind is your shield, when you'll feel depression, loneliness, lassitude, waste they are with you when you must go on in the struggle of life ref: They are still with you, think of you also in the distance, coming again and again /to you/ in the blue moments you forget them, /disregarded friends/ Guardian angels, they're still on the earth you can call'em Gods, Aliens, Power, Energy even strangers. in the blue moments you forget them.

The band consists of musicians who have been performing on the Slovak and foreign (Spanish, American, English, Dutch, German, Czech, Hungarian, etc.) music scene. They have previously worked together in various bands and music projects, but the current set "Steve Misik & Co." settled in April 2013 during the recording of the songs for the debut album "Schizoemphatic" and creating the promo video for the cover version of Deep Purple's ¨You Keep On Moving¨.
The project is generally is of a harder character: hard rock, funk, blues, metal, boogie, soul, sometimes with some ethnic or electronic elements, but it does not limit itself when it comes to genre. "We just wanna play what we want whenever we feel like it" – this is the motto of this bunch. The way in which we got to the recording of the debut album was very long and difficult. Steve Misik with his first band recorded two studio singles which were aired in several Slovakian radio stations and performed at various festivals in Slovakia and Hungary for example "Pepsi-Sziget" in Budapest, "Alternatívne leto" in Osrblie. First music clip was recorded at a Slovakian TV channel "VTV" based on Steve Misik's music. Early songs were released by the G.A. records, X-Distribution, MusicBox CS Agency.
Because of a car accident the bassist unfortunately had to left the band and after that Steve Misik & Co. worked with a new drummer, Feri Kecskemeti on new songs for the debut album. With these songs the band finally could achive the sounding what always wanted to make and could afford their listeners real music, the band's own creature. It took a long time to find a bassist who can replace his predecessor but the Steve Misik & Co. still couldn't reach a calm and productive period in its life. The band faced with the biggest misfortune, the health problems of the lead guitarist and co-founder of the band and especially a good friend. Steve Tóth had to be hospitalized. Steve Misik had to play abroad as a session musician in different projects, because of the break and money required for recording and so on. That time Steve Tóth suddenly passed away which painfully affected everybody because of his creative benefit, friendship and enormous love for music (when he found out that he will not be able to play guitar after his heart surgery he fell into a coma and doctors failed to wake him). Steve Misik composed and arranged the song "My waves" based on his riffs and lyrics. They worked together on that song before his death. The album "Schizoemphatic" is dedicated to his memory. Steve always wanted to finish the work he started but it was difficult to find new members for the broken band and because of the constant travelling and moving from country to country. The members were performing as sessions musicians, participated in various projects of other bands across the Europe (for example in Slovakia the AC/DC revival band "LC/DC", where old childhood friend musicians, drummer Miro Barty, bassist Juraj Pelc and Peter Cmorik also performed). After recording drum parts for some songs Feri left the project for health reasons and was replaced by Miro Barty. The first single because of the web administrator's mistake was promoted with incorrect band name “Clone co.”, because he entered the name of the single instead the name of the band, so we kicked his ass. In another line up with bassist Tibor Borsky they recorded promo single Clone back in December 2007, containing the song Clone, aired in various online radios in USA and Europe. The single name have originated its title during recording while our sound engineer Rolo ¨helped us¨ with the transmission of equipment and instruments, whose acid from the accumulators has been recently poured from the boot, its seats got soaked up with it and all our pants and assess have nearly been etched too.
Tibor Borsky wasn't able to follow the cooperation because of the lack of time (he wanted to work on his own music project). In May of 2013 Juraj Pelc joined the project. The band doesn't like to label its genre. We grew up listening hard rock, metal bands but we've been influenced by funk, soul, blues, ethnic music, classical music or jazz. Our music is based on the concept of trying different genres, different imaginary worlds, different fantasies in every song but keeping our own face.
